The English Writer
The English Writer is Andy Gayler. He trained as a newspaper journalist in the UK and worked in newspapers for five years. His next position was as a copywriter for a large international corporation where he learned to write 'on brand'. From there, he went to the world-renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSHCC), London, to run its monthly magazine and write fundraising copy for the charity. After moving to Okinawa, Japan, Andy became a freelance writer and copy editor, and has worked for both Japanese and international companies. He has been writing, editing and helping clients with their English requirements for more than 20 years.
